We have enjoyed the fine work of PortSide Builders since 1996. As our family has grown (now six grandchildren), we have returned to PortSide to add an extra bedroom and make updates to our bedroom/bathroom suite. You can see from the photos the beautiful work they continue to do. I am pleased to recommend PortSide Builders.
Honoring the land passed down through the generations, was the challenge we brought to PortSide Builders. Our former campsite was transformed into a safe, accessible, low maintenance home by their capable employees. Everyone was friendly, patient, detail-oriented, and willing to answer questions. We’re enjoying our home with the peace of mind that comes from knowing it was built the right way by PortSide Builders.
PortSide Builders did an excellent job for us. Our entire remodel was done while we were out of state so we had to put our complete trust in our builder and depend on their expertise. We wanted a completely updated home so there was an enormous amount of detail to be addressed. Everything from design to the implementation was exceptional. The biggest surprise was that the project was on schedule throughout and we were able to move in on the date we were given at the beginning of construction which is unheard of! We are thrilled with the final outcome.
To us, PortSide means trust, integrity, and commitment. As residents of Florida, we are unable to be onsite very often. However, knowing that Joel Daoust is our project coordinator, has given us a high level of comfort during this process. Our every request has been met with a smile.

Couldn’t be happier with the beautiful home PortSide constructed. From design to the finished product, PortSide was easy (even fun) to work with. They used great creativity in helping us turn our vision into reality — while staying within budget. PortSide guided us through everything from how to position the home in order to maximize sunsets, to the use of materials that would minimize maintenance. Our wonderful project manager, Jim, kept everything on schedule and was extremely responsive to any questions we had. He had a keen grasp of what we wanted, and he delivered beautifully. We are thoroughly enjoying our new home, and are extremely happy that we chose PortSide.
PortSide was great to work with from the initial visit through the completion of the project. They helped us to see the big picture of the renovation and presented design details that really finished off our kitchen. These details made the new renovation flow nicely into our house and make it fell like the new kitchen was always here.
In addition to PortSide building our house in 2007, this project was the fourth one they done for us. We keep coming back to PortSide for good reasons. They are customer focused and responsive, they stick to a schedule, and they perform quality work for a fair price. If we undertake a fifth project, we will definitely be contacting PortSide again.
We entered this project a little timid and unsure if building a home was right for us. Zach Juadis helped us take some ideas and turned them into a house we love. We relied on him and everyone at PortSide for their guidance and knowledge in the choices we made.

We needed to add an addition to our home so my husband’s mother could move in with us. Joe Englebert helped us design and build a beautiful master suite off the backside of our home. Joe listened attentively to all of our wants and needs and built us everything we dreamed it could be. You and your team were wonderful to work with!! I want to thank the PortSide team for completing our large, 1,000+ Sq/Ft remodel. It has exceeded our wildest expectations. This was a large undertaking touching many aspects of our home and it was completed with attention to detail and with understanding to our families schedules and routines during construction.
