Custom Design ~ New Construction ~ Remodeling ~ Additions
We have enjoyed the fine work of PortSide Builders since 1996. As our family has grown (now six grandchildren), we have returned to PortSide to add an extra bedroom and make updates to our bedroom/bathroom suite. You can see from the photos the beautiful work they continue to do. I am pleased to recommend PortSide Builders.
Honoring the land passed down through the generations, was the challenge we brought to PortSide Builders. Our former campsite was transformed into a safe, accessible, low maintenance home by their capable employees. Everyone was friendly, patient, detail-oriented, and willing to answer questions. We’re enjoying our home with the peace of mind that comes from knowing it was built the right way by PortSide Builders.
PortSide Builders did an excellent job for us. Our entire remodel was done while we were out of state so we had to put our complete trust in our builder and depend on their expertise. We wanted a completely updated home so there was an enormous amount of detail to be addressed. Everything from design to the implementation was exceptional. The biggest surprise was that the project was on schedule throughout and we were able to move in on the date we were given at the beginning of construction which is unheard of! We are thrilled with the final outcome.
To us, PortSide means trust, integrity, and commitment. As residents of Florida, we are unable to be onsite very often. However, knowing that Joel Daoust is our project coordinator, has given us a high level of comfort during this process. Our every request has been met with a smile.
We would recommend PortSide to anyone looking for a custom builder. Thank you to everyone at PortSide.
I was very pleased with PortSide’s work from start through completion, and have the highest regard for Jim Englebert, who supervised the construction of this home, and made myriad contributions at every step of the building process.
Couldn’t be happier with the beautiful home PortSide constructed. From design to the finished product, PortSide was easy (even fun) to work with. They used great creativity in helping us turn our vision into reality — while staying within budget. PortSide guided us through everything from how to position the home in order to maximize sunsets, to the use of materials that would minimize maintenance. Our wonderful project manager, Jim, kept everything on schedule and was extremely responsive to any questions we had. He had a keen grasp of what we wanted, and he delivered beautifully. We are thoroughly enjoying our new home, and are extremely happy that we chose PortSide.
PortSide was great to work with from the initial visit through the completion of the project. They helped us to see the big picture of the renovation and presented design details that really finished off our kitchen. These details made the new renovation flow nicely into our house and make it fell like the new kitchen was always here.
In addition to PortSide building our house in 2007, this project was the fourth one they done for us. We keep coming back to PortSide for good reasons. They are customer focused and responsive, they stick to a schedule, and they perform quality work for a fair price. If we undertake a fifth project, we will definitely be contacting PortSide again.
We entered this project a little timid and unsure if building a home was right for us. Zach Juadis helped us take some ideas and turned them into a house we love. We relied on him and everyone at PortSide for their guidance and knowledge in the choices we made.
A special “thank you” to every PortSide employee and sub-contractor we met on site. Everyone we talked with was friendly, knowledgeable, and certainly hard working. They took pride in what they were doing and helped us understand their process and answered any questions we had.
We love it! Thank You!
We needed to add an addition to our home so my husband’s mother could move in with us. Joe Englebert helped us design and build a beautiful master suite off the backside of our home. Joe listened attentively to all of our wants and needs and built us everything we dreamed it could be. You and your team were wonderful to work with!! I highly recommend PortSide for all your building needs.
I would like to compliment PortSide for such great customer service before, during, and after the design and building of our new home. Many of the homes built by PortSide are large and expensive but ours was more modest. Despite this, PortSide has treated us like valuable customers. I continue to recommend your company to everyone I know!
Words cannot adequately describe our pleasure working with PortSide Builders on the project of our new home. From our initial meeting with Alan Shefchik, our Custom Designer, we knew we had made the right decision. Alan was great to work with in laying out the plans and, because of his building expertise, was able to add suggestions each step of the way. It has been our pleasure and we highly recommend PortSide for all your building needs.
“We knew building a new house was a big project. Thanks to the professionals at PortSide, we now have our forever home! Our Custom Designer worked with us to design everything we need now and in the future. Our Construction Coordinator was patient but kept us on schedule when we needed it. They worked well together and with all the subcontractors. Thanks for our first, forever home!”
“PortSide Builders did an excellent job rebuilding and expanding my deck. They managed a myriad of critical details while completing my project, including checking setback requirements, offering material and design options, and communicating with me regularly as critical steps of the project were being completed. My new deck is more beautiful than I ever could have imagined it would be.”
From our first consultation and throughout the entire remodel of our lake house, PortSide Builders was a trusted partner. Their professionalism, knowledge, experience and attention to detail resulted in a top quality finished product. The entire staff at PortSide really care about their customers and projects. We are extremely pleased with our newly remodeled home and highly recommend PortSide Builders.
From our initial contact to signing the final papers, we enjoyed wonderful working relationships. Thank you for operating a business that employs staff of such character and quality. We are proud to tell others that we have a PortSide home.
PortSide Builders made our dream come true. From design through construction, they listened to our ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered a house built with superb craftsmanship that met or exceeded our expectations. PortSide was wonderful to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend them.
I want to thank the PortSide team for completing our large, 1,000+ Sq/Ft remodel. It has exceeded our wildest expectations. This was a large undertaking touching many aspects of our home and it was completed with attention to detail and with understanding to our families schedules and routines during construction. From the time of consultation and estimation, through execution and completion, you were on time and on budget. Our family can’t say enough about the additional usable space. We have hosted many more get togethers than we could have before the remodel, and look forward to the new memories we will create in the new space for years to come. Thank you so much.
We are very happy with the results of the remodel and the addition of a sunroom and master bedroom suite that PortSide Builders planned and completed for us. Not only were the PortSide employees and subcontractors professional throughout the design and construction process, they were also kind, understanding and helpful. The craftsmanship of the finished project is excellent. We would recommend PortSide to anyone with a building or remodeling project.
