Custom Design ~ New Construction ~ Remodeling ~ Additions
We had a great experience with our kitchen remodel. All aspects went smoothly and we are so happy with the results. Everyone was awesome to work with and we would highly recommend your company.
We are very happy with the results of the remodel and the addition of a sunroom and master bedroom suite that PortSide Builders planned and completed for us. Not only were the PortSide employees and subcontractors professional throughout the design and construction process, they were also kind, understanding and helpful. The craftsmanship of the finished project is excellent. We would recommend PortSide to anyone with a building or remodeling project.
We want to thank the crew at PortSide for the great job they did on our home remodel. Working with our Custom Designer was an easy, pleasant experience. He took time to listen to what we were interested in and come up with plans that fit our needs. Our construction coordinator and the construction crew listened to us and were very responsive to our questions. We are very pleased with how the kitchen and family room turned out. We wouldn’t hesitate to use PortSide again or recommend them to our friends.
We are so happy we chose PortSide Builders to do our kitchen remodel. From the first meeting to the final walk through, they have proven to be efficient, detail oriented and trustworthy. All of our questions and/or concerns were answered and addressed in a friendly and timely manner. We are most grateful that PortSide Builders made our kitchen dreams become a reality. We look forward to working with them on other remodeling projects in the future.
“We already had desigin ideas – we just needed someone to put it all together. Our Building Consultant was very good at giving ideas and was great at listening to ours. Everything was well orchestrated and everyone PortSide recommended was awesome.”
We had our architect friend design our home, but PortSide’s Building Consultant kept the home in budget and on schedule. The coordination was amazing and all of the subs were great. We could see a great deal of mutual respect for each other. We were very proud to have PortSide showcase our home in the Showcase of Homes.
We want to thank everyone at PortSide for delivering to us such a beautiful house! We feel that everyone went above and beyond to make us happy. The only way we can truly thank PortSide is to tell everyone how happy we are with your work. We are doing that at every opportunity.
People ask what we would do differently. Well, we wouldn’t do anything differently. Our Custom Designer / Building Consultant really captured our imagination with the design of the home. Our Coordinator’s experience was invaluable. His buidling genius was a huge help every step of the way.
I would like to compliment PortSide for such great customer service before, during, and after the design and building of our new home. Many of the homes built by PortSide are large and expensive but ours was more modest. Despite this, PortSide has treated us like valuable customers. I continue to recommend your company to everyone I know!
PortSide is recognized as being a good, quality builder. It’s family oriented. Our Coordinator made some great suggestions during construction and really made everything happen. PortSide is probably the best builder in the county. If we were to build again, we’d pick PortSide.

Words cannot adequately describe our pleasure working with PortSide Builders on the project of our new home. From our initial meeting with Alan Shefchik, our Custom Designer, we knew we had made the right decision. Alan was great to work with in laying out the plans and, because of his building expertise, was able to add suggestions each step of the way. It has been our pleasure and we highly recommend PortSide for all your building needs.
“We knew building a new house was a big project. Thanks to the professionals at PortSide, we now have our forever home! Our Custom Designer worked with us to design everything we need now and in the future. Our Construction Coordinator was patient but kept us on schedule when we needed it. They worked well together and with all the subcontractors. Thanks for our first, forever home!”
“PortSide Builders did an excellent job rebuilding and expanding my deck. They managed a myriad of critical details while completing my project, including checking setback requirements, offering material and design options, and communicating with me regularly as critical steps of the project were being completed. My new deck is more beautiful than I ever could have imagined it would be.”
From our first consultation and throughout the entire remodel of our lake house, PortSide Builders was a trusted partner. Their professionalism, knowledge, experience and attention to detail resulted in a top quality finished product. The entire staff at PortSide really care about their customers and projects. We are extremely pleased with our newly remodeled home and highly recommend PortSide Builders.
From our initial contact to signing the final papers, we enjoyed wonderful working relationships. Thank you for operating a business that employs staff of such character and quality. We are proud to tell others that we have a PortSide home.
PortSide Builders made our dream come true. From design through construction, they listened to our ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered a house built with superb craftsmanship that met or exceeded our expectations. PortSide was wonderful to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend them.
I want to thank the PortSide team for completing our large, 1,000+ Sq/Ft remodel. It has exceeded our wildest expectations. This was a large undertaking touching many aspects of our home and it was completed with attention to detail and with understanding to our families schedules and routines during construction. From the time of consultation and estimation, through execution and completion, you were on time and on budget. Our family can’t say enough about the additional usable space. We have hosted many more get togethers than we could have before the remodel, and look forward to the new memories we will create in the new space for years to come. Thank you so much.

We entered this project a little timid and unsure if building a home was right for us. Zach Juadis helped us take some ideas and turned them into a house we love. We relied on him and everyone at PortSide for their guidance and knowledge in the choices we made. A special “thank you” to every PortSide employee and sub-contractor we met on site. Everyone we talked with was friendly, knowledgeable, and certainly hard working. They took pride in what they were doing and helped us understand their process and answered any questions we had. We love it! Thank You!
