PortSide Builders Has Chosen Kurt Hogan As Their Newest Member Of The Remodeling Specialists Team
With over 23 Years in the Construction Industry, Kurt Hogan Brings a Wealth of Skill and Knowledge to Serve PortSide’s Growing Remodeling and Additions Customer Base
[STURGEON BAY, WI, August 2, 2019] PortSide Builders is pleased to announce Kurt Hogan has joined the Door County Remodeling and Additions team in Door County as a Custom Designer / Building Consultant. He will be working directly with customers to help them achieve their vision for a better home by creating plans that fit their budget and helping them understand the remodeling and design process.
Kurt started his career at PortSide Builders over 23 years ago as a carpenter working summers and holiday breaks while attending UW Eau Claire. After graduating with a degree in Resource Management and working full time as a carpenter for several years at PortSide, Kurt was offered a position in Estimating and Drafting. It is in this role where Kurt learned about PortSide’s firm bidding process, drafting and designing. Kurt then spent two years at PortSide’s Fox Valley office as a New Construction Custom Designer / Building Consultant.
Kurt’s extensive, hands on experience in the field provides a great service to PortSide Builders customer base. He has the experience and knowledge to understand how the construction process works, managing budgets, timelines and expectations to help ensure the process runs smoothly for our customers. Additionally, Kurt is able to navigate the complicated building code and zoning issues that can become overwhelming for customers to try and manage on their own, thus bringing peace of mind to new customers.
Kurt states, “I am thrilled to be back in my hometown, serving the people of my community. I truly enjoy working with people and helping them bring their visions for a more enjoyable home to life. Seeing them happy with the results and enjoying the new space in their home is extremely rewarding.” Kurt is currently back in the Door County office and is ready to visit with you in your home to discuss your remodeling or additions needs.
