Come See Our Handcrafted Christmas Tree at the Door County Merry-Time Festival of Trees 2021
Keeping up with tradition, we are happy to participate in the Door County Merry-Time Festival of Trees, at the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay. This fun and festive event is a great way to get into the spirit of the season and it's always interesting to see the creative ideas all the participants come up with to adorn their trees.
The theme for our tree this year is, "Enjoy the Simple Things in Life". A beautifully hand-crafted tree made out of reclaimed pallet wood, hand engraved with words of inspiration, and modestly decorated with items from nature, we feel, captures the essence of what that phrase really means.
While it’s easy to get caught up in never-ending to-do lists and feeling like we always need to do more in less time, it’s important to remember to take a minute, breathe, and appreciate all that we have. It’s in these moments that we often realize it’s the simplest of things in life that bring us the most joy. Time spent outdoors in the fresh air, gathering with family and friends, good food and drink, and the twinkling lights of a simple Christmas tree are the best gifts we can give to ourselves…and to share with others.
What are the simple things in your life that you appreciate the most? We hope you take the time this Holiday Season to really enjoy them.
Merry-Time Festival of Trees takes place at the Door County Maritime Museum from November 13, 2021 - January 2, 2022; 10am-5pm.
