Whole Home Renovation
Our April remodel project features a major home renovation. The owners of this home wanted to transform their beloved family vacation home into a more comfortable space suitable for year-round living. Changes included removing walls, redesigning the floor plan, and expanding the front entryway. The finished result is a bright, open-concept, well-designed space, with better flow between rooms, that takes full advantage of the natural light and stunning surrounding views. Details of This Remodeling Project:
- Removed walls between sunroom and dining area, and kitchen and living room, removed all cabinetry, flooring, and windows in kitchen, dining area, and living room
- Removed arched openings in living room
- Reframed opening for new windows in the kitchen and dining area
- Framed walls for the expanded entryway, master bathroom, and laundry room
- Updated kitchen features custom-built, painted maple cabinetry with clever storage solutions, island with extended snack counter and undermount stainless steel sink, ceramic tile backsplash, and quartz countertops
- Underused office adjacent to the master bedroom was converted to a new master bath with custom-tiled, walk-in shower, and vanity with dual sinks and quartz countertop
- Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring installed throughout the entire first floor
- Additional improvements include expansions to the laundry room and front entry to create more storage space upon entering
- Installed new cable railing at the deck and deck stairs and new cedar lap siding as needed
