Home Remodel - Tour the home before the work begins
In our last post, we laid out the first step involved in the renovation of a residential condominium. After the owners initial meetings with our Custom Home and Remodeling Designers, we prepare for demolition of the interior and the updating of the electrical, plumbing, and heating systems. We’ll continue with the framing, plastering, flooring and finishing work. But, before we share with you these steps, let’s take a quick tour of what the home looks like before the work begins. This will give you a better idea of the owner’s vision, and what they’re trying to accomplish with this remodel.
This condominium was originally built by PortSide Builders in the early 1980's, and the new owners want to update much of the living space. The new updates will provide a more modern style and provide increased value to their home. With a plan in place, our crews can start the work of renovating this home. Follow the dramatic transformation over the next several months, and you’ll see the owners vision come to life, as their early 1980’s home is transformed into a modern and attractive space for their family to enjoy for years to come.
Demolition Work
Be sure to join us in a few weeks as the demolition of the interior begins. We will take you on a tour throughout the home, as walls are taken down, and floors, doors and cabinets are removed. The entire home will be stripped down to sheetrock and plywood.
