Remodel of the Month
Exterior Remodel Gives Modern Upgrade to Charming Two-Story Home
In our May Remodel of the Month, we feature a charming two-story home in need of a new roof and updated siding. The existing exterior had a mix of lap siding on the lower portion and scalloped shingles on the upper portion, giving the home a Victorian feel. The homeowners desired a more distinctive, modern look. In addition to the new roof, metal awnings were installed above the windows and doors, a portico was added to the secondary entrance, and a cupola with a weather vane was installed on the roof. Overall, the updated exterior adds striking curb appeal and improves the home's energy efficiency.
