Get Into the Holiday Spirit at the Door County Maritime Museum's, Merry-Time Festival of Trees

PortSide Builders is happy to participate in Door County Maritime Museum's, Merry-Time Festival of Trees for our 6th year in a row. It's become a tradition and a bit of a challenge around here to see if we will be able to outdo our tree from the previous year. Thanks to our creative carpenters, so far, we think we have been able to pull it off. 

This year's theme is "The Spiral of Life".  This unique tree is hand-crafted by one of our talented carpenters. He created this spiral effect using maple boards. We chose to keep the decorations minimal, allowing the beautiful wood sculpture to be the main focus. 

Sometimes, no matter how prepared we are or how much we’ve planned ahead, life can take us on an unexpected journey, full of twists and turns. It’s during these times that we have the greatest potential for growth. As we look upon this tree, we are reminded that even though life may have its share of twists and turns, with the right attitude and approach, these challenges can all spiral around to create something unexpected and beautiful.

As you enjoy this holiday season, we hope you take some time to reflect on how the spiral of life has shaped your path and how like a spiral, you continue to grow and get stronger with each turn.

Merry-Time Festival of Trees takes place at the Door County Maritime Museum from November 12, 2022 - January 1, 2023; 10am-5pm.
